    Just a short reminder that LinuxTag’s Call for Papers is open till January 29th. Despite we are already accepting submissions since late November, Nils and I finally managed publishing the official documents to LinuxTag’s website. Spread the word and submit your proposals. I am thrilled to read what has happend during the last year!

    The holiday season is time to thank family and friends. I would like to thank Elke for her great achievements: Elke transformed the project’s lunch, which Wolfgang and I initiated with a simple soup for about 200 people in, into a delicious lunch for double the amount of people.

Weclome to Marko’s Blog.

This is the blog or weblog of Marko Jung, who works as an it consultant supporting medium-sized businesses and public authorities in migrating and consolidating their whole infrastructure to Free Software. In addition to this he works as student trainee for SUSE Linux Products GmbH writing his thesis on integrating a trust system into the openSUSE Build Service.

In his free time, he is covering a non profit function as Free Software Community Manager for LinuxTag, Europe's leading conference and exhibition on Linux, Free Software and Open Source, where more than 12.000 Linux professionals, developers and enthusiasts share their visions on the future of the Open Source movement.
